With more than two decades of merchandising leadership experience in the convenience and grocery industries, Sanders brings a proven record of driving category performance, improving margins, strengthening supplier partnerships, and building high-performing teams. In his new role, Chuck will oversee all aspects of Yesway’s merchandising function, including P&L ownership, category management, assortment optimization, vendor partnerships, strategic pricing, and planogram development. He will work cross-functionally with marketing, loyalty, operations, fuel, financial planning, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and operational excellence. Additionally, he will lead and mentor the merchandising team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Sanders brings more than two decades of exceptional merchandising leadership to Yesway, built through progressive roles at 7-Eleven, CAL’S Convenience, and Brookshire Grocery Company. His experience includes overseeing more than $2 billion in annual category sales, delivering sustained revenue and margin growth, and securing substantial supplier funding and national partnerships. He has led major category strategies, new item launches, pricing and promotional architecture, and large-scale planogram initiatives across thousands of retail locations. Throughout his career, Sanders has built and mentored high-performing teams, driven operational improvements, and executed complex merchandising resets and store initiatives. Known for his analytical approach, strong vendor relationships, and customer-centric mindset, he has consistently strengthened competitive positioning and accelerated growth for every organization he has served.

Yesway Raises Over $630,000 at Fifth Annual Golf & Clays Classic

Vendor and Supplier Partners Help Drive Record-Breaking Fundraising to Support Local Charities, Veterans, and First Responders

(FORT WORTH, TX – November 4, 2026) – Yesway, one of the nation’s fastest-growing convenience store chains, announced it raised more than $630,000 during its Fifth Annual Golf & Clays Classic Charitable Fundraising Tournament, held September 22–23, 2025, at The Golf Clubs at The Tribute and Elm Fork Shooting Sports in Dallas, Texas.

Since its inception, the event has generated nearly $3 million to support nonprofit organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities where Yesway operates. This year’s proceeds will benefit Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit serving military families, as well as several local charities, civic organizations, and first responders across the company’s operating areas. These include police and fire departments in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, as well as local programs such as Ruidoso Strong, HELP Inc., the D.A.R.E. Program of Otero County, and the Christian Outdoor Alliance.

Yesway launched the campaign with an initial corporate commitment of $100,000, rallying its network to provide critical relief to neighbors in need. Donations will go to The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which is dedicated to addressing urgent needs and supporting long-term recovery.

Yesway Opens Four New Stores in the First Quarter of 2025

Fort Worth, TX — May 1, 2025 – Yesway, one of the nation’s leading convenience store operators, is proud to reaffirm its steadfast support for America’s military service members, veterans, and first responders with a donation of $100,000 to Operation Homefront in celebration of Military Appreciation Month.

Throughout May, customers at Yesway and Allsup’s locations are invited to join this important initiative by supporting Operation Homefront through in-store purchases or Smile Rewards donations. The campaign will be active across Yesway’s 443 stores located in Texas, New Mexico, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.

For every purchase of a BODYARMOR 28-ounce sports drink, 1-liter sports water, or any Yesway or Allsup’s private-label salty snack, Yesway will donate fifteen cents ($0.15) to Operation Homefront. In addition, Yesway and Allsup’s Rewards members can contribute by redeeming Smiles (loyalty points) via Yesway and Allsup’s Rewards mobile apps.

In New Mexico, Yesway has introduced three new Allsup’s stores in Belen, Las Cruces, and Chaparral. In Oklahoma, customers can now visit the newly opened Allsup’s location in Ardmore.

These four openings mark the 81st new store or major rebuild Yesway has completed over the past three and a half years – a testament to the company’s commitment to growth and service.
